December 7th
In the legislature lawn, in the spirit of the holidays, the crowd gathered to see the buildings come alight after a choir performance, and countdown.
The event opened with the singing of the national anthem, followed by the Victoria Children’s Choir.
My friend Steve and I met at the legislature lawn, and enjoyed the performance. Shout out to him, check out his music here.
After the light up, seasonal treats (hot chocolate) were offered inside the legislature (for those patient enough to wait through the lineup).
REMEMBER TO BRING :
A good jacket, gloves, scarves. (The event lasts about 30m outdoors, so you will be glad you brought some layers to keep yourself warm!)
