June 16 and 17th
This popular event had a remarkable attendance rate, as it is customary. There’s little wonder as to why, what with all the live entertainment, food options and community spirit ! The Fernwood NRG Association organizes this event yearly, and never fails to disappoint.
If you’re a music lover, and want to shake down/ dance, this event is for you ! Multiple excellent bands performed in the events lineup including my friends the Blackwood Kings.
Food vendors in Fernwood square were open during the event. My friends and I went to grab some tacos at the local Mesa Familiar.
It is a remarkably fun time, and its a great time to connect with the community.
Performers sang / played their hearts out at a larger ‘main stage’ in the middle of the pictoresque square, and in the ‘smaller stage’ within the gallery on Gladstone ave.
I would like to advice that if you are already there, don’t leave! Unfortunately, due to the limited space, and the event being at capacity, there were some long lineups to enter / re-enter the event. Arrive early and plan to stay for a while !
REMEMBER TO BRING :
Cash to pay for food vendors
Your IDs to be able to access the beer garden / vendors
A sweater to keep warm if you’re staying until the later shows (it can get chilly after the sun is gone !)

Other Pubs Nearby (Since Fernwood isn’t too far away from town (maybe 20m walking ? you can probably get to Bastion Square area and visit any of the pubs there !)
