Many different and free community activities happened on Canada Day 2023, providing much opportunity to connect and celebrate.
To name a few, the Gorge Road Market / Picnic was on (the road was closed to vehicles and open to pedestrians to peruse all the fantastic crafts and food items offered by vendors). There were cultural performances as part of the Celebration in the Legislature (in the photo above). The Jazzfest offered a free show during this day, featuring West Coast Soul Collective, The New Groovement, and The Pulkes Band, amongst others.
A classic ending to the day is to enjoy the fireworks by the Inner Harbour or the Delta Hotel.
