In the first and second floors of the Bay Centre (between 11am and 5pm), more than 50 vendors were hoping for customers to come and support local, by purchasing their handmade / artisanal crafts and treats.
The turnout to the event was quite good. Free musical performances set the tone for the shoppers who enjoyed browsing.
Some of the artisanal items offered were : soaps, art (painting / illustrations) , knitted figurines, jewelry, sauces and spreads, and scented candles. On the foodie side, you could find baked items, sweets, and drinks (shoutout to Island Guy with Chai).
Market Collective allied with Earl’s to provide those visiting the market w/ a $10 gift card as a thanks for supporting local.
