The Oak Bay night market recurred every 2nd Wednesday of the month during the summer between 4pm and 8pm. The market ocurred in Oak Bay Village, where the street closes down to vehicular traffic.
The environment is very fun and vibrant. One can walk freely and visit the open businesses, as well as see the many offerings the vendors bring (local crafts, local artisanal foods / drinks, food truck eats, etc)
In this photo, my friend James and I stand before the many vendor posts available at the event. (Shout out to him, check out his music !) There was a post that was offering free cotton candy, so he and I enjoyed some and sat on the lawn in front of the Oak Bay Municipal Hall.

Your wallet ! Most vendors are set up to take card, but it can’t hurt to bring cash for those who aren’t
